Weston College is offering a skills bootcamp to accelerate your study in order to reduce the time you need to spend on an apprenticeship by up to 6 months.

You will cover 3 major themes, Equality, diversity and Inclusion (EDI), Safeguarding as well as Learning and child development. In addition you will also achieve a paediatric first aid certification

The course will be blended between online learning and face to face sessions all taught live as well as practical onsite work experience with an employer

You will need to have at least functional skills level 2/ GCSE grade C/4 in maths and English or willing to work towards this. Learners will also need some IT literacy and access to a laptop.
All learners will also have to undertake a DBS check and therefore need suitable identification for this application.

  • Eligibility: Not have completed a Skills Bootcamp funded by the DFE in the last 12 months
