Girlguiding Volunteers in Bristol and South Gloucestershire

Girlguiding is the leading organisation for girls and young women in the UK. We support girls and young women to develop their potential and make a difference to the world.

Through our different sections, Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers, Girlguiding offers girls from 4 to 18 years old opportunities to meet weekly to earn badges and follow their interests. Weekly meetings are usually held in the evening and provides girls a place to have fun and empower them to know they can do anything.

As a volunteer organisation we rely on people giving up their time to give girls these experiences to earn their badges, make friendships and look after their community. We need more people to get involved across Bristol to ensure we can keep providing this in your local area.

Volunteering with us offers the opportunity to develop a range of skills and attributes which are transferable to the workplace, such as confidence, social skills, teamwork ability. In addition to this is the opportunity for volunteers to rediscover adventure, make new friends and get involved in the community.
