Hillfields Community Garden offers a space for members of the community to connect with nature and promote wellbeing.
Ways to get involved include:

  • Volunteering – get involved with planting, digging, building and litter-picking, or volunteer with helping to plan and organise community events.
  • Groups – There are various groups that meet either weekly or monthly, including groups groups for volunteers, women, and a gardening for wellbeing group who meet weekly for anyone feeling isolated or struggling with their mental health.
  • Community Climate Action Project.
  • Annual/seasonal events.
  • Workshops – varying from guided walks, connecting with nature, to practical skills.
