Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools

This course runs from September to July at our Somer Valley Campus in Radstock, for 4 hours a week with face to face teaching.

Course units include the following:

Safeguarding the welfare of children and young people
Help improve own and team practice in schools
Support children and young people’s positive behaviour
Provide displays in schools
Provide support for therapy sessions

Funding options are available as are bursaries for travel and childcare if eligible.

Learners must be over the age of 19 and have proof of the right to study in the UK

• Eligibility: Refugee / Asylum seeker &/or Right to live and work in UK/ lived in UK 3 years, Unemployed &/or claiming a benefit (e.g Universal Credit), Working within West of England Combined Authority region
• Ages: 19+
