Retrofit Academy CIC

The Retrofit Academy provide a variety of retrofit skills training for the construction and trade industry, including a free virtual introduction, Skills Bootcamps and a range of short courses. Retrofit is the improvement of a building’s energy efficiency, making buildings easier to heat, able to retain that heat for longer, and installing renewable energy systems. Retrofitting skills are essential green skills needed to help reduce carbon emissions.

The Retrofit Academy offer a variety of courses for people either looking to start out their retrofit career or upskill their existing trade skills. Some courses are fully-funded, and there are a mixture of online and in-person options available. Examples of courses include:
