The importance of the safe handling of medications goes without saying. This course is aimed at learners who wish to work in the health and social care or medical sectors and would like to add to their professional knowledge base. The course will offer a foundation of knowledge in how medication prescriptions are formed and executed. In addition learners will also gain an understanding of the importance of appropriate supply, storage and disposal of medications and how legal legislation and auditing plays a crucial role in how the medical sector is regulated. Study for the course takes place in an online virtual learning environment (VLE) where you can study at any time and at your own pace.
