UWE offers a course on transport decarbonisation, held over six one-day sessions across 13 weeks. This course encourages students to think critically about how various transport systems and new technologies can address the challenges of reducing carbon emissions.

You’ll learn how different passenger and freight systems work, are managed, and connect with each other, examining traditional modes like rail, bus, coach, and tram alongside newer options like e-scooter and bike-sharing. The course also covers sustainability in aviation and freight.

If you wish to complete the course assessment you are expected to have a first degree at 2.2 level or above (or equivalent) or alternatively have industrial experience.
