The Urban Garden

The Urban Garden offers free Level 1 and 2 City and Guilds courses in Practical Horticulture twice a year. These courses are for adults who want to gain basic horticultural skills. The courses will allow you to learn, develop and practice the skills required for progression into the horticultural sector. No previous experience is required for the level 1.

They also offer supported work placements for adults who are unemployed and aiming to get back into work or progress into further education. Trainees receive support and training in plant knowledge and customer care.
