Adverse childhood experiences can have lasting impacts on a person’s wellbeing beyond childhood. This is why this qualification aims to give you everything you will need to know to form an understanding of the factors which play a part in childhood development, support strategies for improving childhood experiences. We would recommend this qualification to anyone who works with children, such as teachers, care workers, childminders, or volunteers. It is also a great first step for people interested in a career in paediatric counselling, or as additional training for current counsellors and psychologists.

Study for the course takes place in an online virtual learning environment (VLE) where you can study at any time and at your own pace.
