Designed for individuals working in the Construction and Built Services Sector, our fully funded Sustainability Pathway Programme provides learners with an in-depth and practical knowledge of retrofit, including how the process responds to key issues such as climate change, fuel poverty and the cost of living crisis. You will be introduced to PAS 2035 and explore the use of quality control measures, computer simulation models and laser surveying techniques within this industry standard.

Core modules include:
– Thermal Performance and the Risks of Retrofitting
– Assessment for and Development of a Retrofit Plan
– Building Services and Renewable Technology

Modules are structured through bitesize self-study e-learning materials (total 6 hours) and a live interactive session (6 hours) where learners will have the opportunity to use UWE’s specialised industry equipment for practical application and analysis.

Learners will be able to choose from a range of modules across the four pathways of the Skills Pathway Programme incorporating skills such as leadership and collaborative working. Our Learning Engagement Lead will work with you to decide which modules are best suited to your career development goals.
