We want to create at least 40 entry-level, paid opportunities for 18-25 year olds to do impactful environmental work at a range of organisations based in Bristol and the West of England Combined authority.
Our focus will be on attracting young (aged 18-25) and diverse talent who can bring new energy, passion and perspectives to help power our green revolution.
We especially want to prioritise supporting those young people who face additional barriers to participating in the environmental sector, including (but not limited to) those who are:
- Ethnically diverse/from an ethnic minority community
- Living with a disability
- Economically disadvantaged
- Geographically marginalised
The programme is currently being developed, and we’re confident that it will be confirmed by Spring 2025, with placements formally kicking off in Autumn.
